Modern Kintsugi Experience Thursday 31st October, Amersfoort, The Netherlands
An immersive 3 hour Creative Journey “Beholding the Broken & Mending to make New!”
The art of Kintsugi embodies new beauty made through imperfections. It’s an artistry of mending broken pieces through gold, symbolically representing how brokenness in our lives can transform to places of beauty. Instead of hiding chipped and broken parts, when imperfections are pronounced, symbolising the light, you behold something that’s more beautiful. It’s an art form of mending to make new.
In this “Modern Kintsugi Experience” we’ll share a time of personal reflection with one another and beholding as we apply Kintsugi techniques to a vessel we’ve brought with us.
All participants are encouraged to bring their own broken vessel (not glass) and will receive all the materials that are needed.
The workshop will take place in Amersfoort, the specific address will be sent out privately once your ticket has been purchased.
